In its judgement of 12 May 1998 - 312 O 85/98 - “Liability for links”, the State Superior Court in Hamburg decided that any person inserting a link was responsible, if applicable, for the contents of the linked site.

This can only be prevented, continues the State Superior Court, if the person concerned explicitly distances himself from these contents.

We hereby explicitly distance ourselves from all contents on sites linked to our Website.
